Audience
Anyone who has a responsibility for, or who is involved in, workplace learning and skills.
Event aim
• to brief on the significant changes made following the abolition of the LSC
• to consider the likely impact on workplace learning and skills following changes in the political landscape
• to share the experience of the Beds & Luton Network and similar networks that have been developed throughout the eastern region
• to explore the potential for developing similar inclusive partnership networks in other sub-regions in the east where networks currently do not exist
• to launch a new regional forum to provide a two way communication mechanism where regional skills partners can update on programmes, policy and funding, and members can provide informal intelligence on skills needs and the employment market
